NEWS

Sept. 25, 2006

I know it's been a while since I've updated but I wanted to thank everyone for the support and good words that you have given me about the website. I am in the processof doing some major work to the website, revising some pages and making things clearer, so thank you for your patience!

Check out the forum, there's a poll question to vote on: Did you learn that Caribs (Kalinago) and Arawaks were extinct in school? What's your input?

Although a little later than I had wanted, Cariblanguage.org is up and running! As with all websites it is a work in progress. I hope you enjoy it. For the most part, all of the pages are up and running except the resources page. It should be done soon, I am just figuring out what format would be best to put it in.

In other news, right now the page for Karifuna is the only one with sound. I would love it if I could get speakers for the other languages! If you are a speaker of any of these languages and have access to a microphone and a computer and would like to volunteer your voice, please contact me!
